I can't tell you how exciting it is to release my first single after... (we won't get into the actual count of time) but... a long time! I am so pleased with the result, and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to work with the likes of Ryan Hommel, Bobby Hawk, Colin Jalbert, John Shyloski, Tom Stewart and Ethan Isaac. They have brought my music & video to another level (listen here!), and I am so thankful for all of them.
Meanwhile - let's talk Spotify. I admit it - I'm an Apple-gal. I have been using Apple products (i.e. iTunes / Apple Music) ever since my Windows95 computer shutdown on me. BUT, until recently - I hadn't really given Spotify a chance. I hadn't quite experienced the joy of putting together playlists like I was making a mixed CD for a friend... or the anticipation of what will come on next while I'm sitting in my virtual "Country Coffeehouse". Needless to say... I LOVE IT. It's like a breathe of fresh air when you switch platforms. I advise you all to do it. You discover new music you hadn't heard, new artists, new sounds. And even though you may never ditch your ol' stand by; it is nice to try something new once in a while.
So as an ode to new music, this Friday (and every Friday?? should this be a thing?) - I have compiled a list of my top 10 Flavors of the Week for your listening pleasure!
